	BOLD TARTAN Striped Show Auricula	Bred by Judy Radford from seed donated by Allan Hawkes. Superb on its first showing at the Solihull Primula Show in 1997, but had never again quite achieved its original form, until this year (2002). Now borderline for a stripe, the variety has retained that special quality of presence on the show bench, with circular and flat pips of substance without coarseness.

	THE ARGYLLS Striped Show Auricula	Bred by Derek Parsons. I originally classified this as a fancy auricula because the main striping is an apparent broad stripe where adjacent petals meet. The finer stripes in the middle of the petals had been overlooked! Probably has Marion Tiger in its breeding as this variety has similar charicteristics. They contribute to the good circular pip outline, an excellent variety.
